Camille Toussant Selected for U.S. U-17 Women’s National Team Training Camp

French Settlement native and St. Joseph’s Academy defender Camille Toussant is making history for Louisiana soccer. The standout center back has been selected to attend the U.S. U-17 Women’s National Team training camp this September in Carson, California—becoming the first player from the Baton Rouge region to receive an invite to a USWNT camp.
Camille’s journey began with Baton Rouge Soccer Club before she advanced to the Louisiana Elite Soccer Program, where she has anchored the back line for the U17 Girls Academy team. Her leadership and resilience helped propel the team to the Girls Academy Finals, where she shined as one of the program’s most reliable players.
Now committed to play college soccer at LSU, Camille’s achievement not only highlights her hard work but also signals the growing level of talent being developed right here in Louisiana.
